The latest episode of The Boys is one of the most eye-opening in the series yet, and that’s saying something. It features, well, an orgy of superheroes doing salacious things to basically everyone around. Not only was it pushing the limits of what people see on TV, it was highly complicated to shoot, according to showrunner Eric Kripke.
Kripke sat down with Collider to provide some insight into what it was like shooting an orgy with so many moving parts. For background, the source material for Herogasm is a six-issue limited series by the same name. It involves the boys sneaking into Vought retreat where they’re surrounded by sexing superheroes in a festival of pleasure that lasts for days.
