As film enthusiasts all across the internet continue to discuss the mind-blowing Succession finale, a variety of high-caliber celebrities are weighing in on the episode’s madness. Earlier today, horror novelist Stephen King threw some serious shade in the direction of the hit HBO series, insisting that a lot of people didn’t really care about it. But while King was adamant about his ever-present dislike of the show, filmmaker James Gunn has offered a completely different opinion.
Over on his official Twitter account, Gunn had the absolute opposite opinion of King — which included Gunn commending the show’s masterful storytelling with a “stunning finale” that reminds viewers why it secured a plethora of award nominations and wins.
